Upon entering the spacious main level, your eyes will be drawn to windows that reveal picturesque lake views. The great room will be a popular gathering spot to recap the fun you had that day. Adding to your living space, there is a separate sunroom where the kids can watch TV.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make favorite meals for family and friends. There is ample seating in the kitchen and at the dining table so that everyone can share great food and good conversation.
Furnished with a good night's sleep in mind, the main level bedroom has a queen bed. There is a bathroom with a shower stall on this level as well.
Upstairs, the den is a cozy spot with two queen sleeper sofas. It is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or to catch an afternoon catnap. There are three bedrooms on this level that each have a queen bed and a TV. You will also find another bedroom with a double bed. Each one is decorated so that you sleep well and wake up ready to tackle Deep Creek Lake adventures!
The lower level family room further expands your living space. You can kick-back and watch TV to enjoy a relaxed evening at home.
You will love spending time outdoors at Canoe Cottage! The deck overlooks the grassy lawn and the lake's sapphire blue water. Sunrise views will thrill the early-birds in your crew. Later in the day, you can fire up the grill for an afternoon barbecue as boats cruise by. Plus, there is a bubbling hot tub that will soothe tired muscles after you hike at state parks or hit the slopes.
Swimming, fishing and kayaking will fill sunny summer days spent at your private dock. Bring your boat or rent one locally to explore Deep Creek's miles of shoreline and quiet coves.
Conveniently located, a five to ten-minute drive in either direction will take you to restaurants, shops, marinas, mini golf, ziplines, state parks and much more. You can even walk to local favorites like the Lakeside Creamery or Brenda's Pizzeria.
Wisp Resort is where you will find four seasons of fun! Skiing, golf, snow tubing, a mountain coaster, disc golf and escape games are just a few of the activities they you can experience. For a true adrenaline rush, head to the top of the mountain where you will find the Adventure Sports Center International. The property was generally in fairly good condition. However, the steps up to the deck were not secure enough and seemed to be an accident waiting to happen. They need some work additional supports. Also, there is a leak in the ceiling in the dining area. When we discovered it, we placed a pan to collect the water. There were a few significant storms during our stay, so times of vacancy could result in additional water damage. Also, some of the chairs in the dining area were not well-supported and could be dangerous to sit on. In all, we had a good week but wanted to point out these safety concerns to avoid an accident in the future.

It was filthy. Cute, spacious, big comfy couch in living room but I cleaned the house myself on day 2 so I could get through the week. The only clean part of the whole house was sheets and towels. I dusted, disinfected, and vacuumed the whole place on day 2. Appliances were dirty. Coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans all needed cleaned before use. Leak in dining room. One of the pots that was put away to cook with appeared to already be used to collect rain water from leak as it was caked with gunk. We definitely left the place cleaner than when we arrived! I joked and said they should pay be a cleaning fee!
