Welcome to our charming vacation rental located in Swanton, Maryland, less than 2 miles from Deep Creek Yacht Club and Thousand Acres Lakeside Golf Club! Nestled among the trees with bluff views, our lovely property boasts spacious accommodations and comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with room to spare. This stunning vacation home features 3 bedrooms, each furnished with cozy beds and quality linens that will make you feel right at home. There is a large master suite with king size bed, walk-out balcony, and attached private bathroom featuring a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The additional bedrooms are outfitted with a flat-screen TV and feature a king and queen size bed with a neighboring bath. The main living area is an open-concept space, perfect for socializing with friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern stainless-steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and all necessary utensils and cookware needed to whip up a delicious meal. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining space that comfortably seats six. After a day of fun-filled activities and exploring the surrounding areas, come home to cozy up next to the fireplace in the living room or catch a movie on the large flat-screen TV. This property also features a game room with a pool table and wet bar, providing endless entertainment for adults and children alike. The outdoor space offers an expansive deck equipped with a gas grill, perfect for family cookouts and outdoor entertaining. The property also includes a hot tub located on the lower patio to provide privacy for you to unwind and soak up the scenery after a long day of adventure. It’s important to note the refrigerator was barely cold when we arrived. There is a note inside to load it slowly because it takes time to get cold. it took 10-12 hours for the food to get cold which was a little concerning. The ice-maker and water dispenser were not working as well. Other than that, everything was wonderful. There is no cell service within miles so make sure you have the directions before you go! The wifi was great so no issues once inside. Bedroom on top level is amazing. 08/24/2024 Thank you for your comprehensive review. Deer are frequent visitors, and the views are lovely. The wrap around balcony, and patio below, make outdoor relaxing and dining very nice. The home is about 20 minutes from Deep Creek Discovery Center, a bit more from McHenry. If your primary plan is to spend time around the house, this is a very good one. You don’t feel cramped in the space as there is ample room for everyone. The basement has a lot of space as well. We wanted to get away for a few days and this place was perfect for this purpose.
