The house had the best stocked kitchen of any house we have ever rented!

Great spot for large family group

Review of Hawk Mountain (Few critiques marked with asterisk*) Finding it was very easy Parking is fantastic Beautiful curb appeal Community was quiet and enjoyed the small hiking trail and scenic overlook by the pool 1st floor Very comfortable living room TV equipped with directv and Roku was so convenient Fireplaces worked great Kitchen was very well equipped and 9/10 clean. Some utensils were dirty and needed rewashed before use *Would maybe recommend a stainless steel skillet and a cast iron to add? Lots of spices on spice rack was very convenient for cooking Bathroom seemed very clean Views from the 1st floor were absolutely beautiful Laundry machines, dishwasher and fridge all in good shape. Everything worked great Basement *No foosball balls was disappointing. We couldn’t find any if there were some Darts were very fun and they had extra tips provided *About 20 dead lady bugs at one of the back sliding doors was pretty gross to stumble upon. I would guess cleaning crew wasn’t there right before we arrived, it might have been a few days since someone was in before us? * Wish the hot tub had more privacy from next door neighbors. Maybe some kind of screen could go up? Outdoor furniture all felt to be in great shape Basement furniture was very comfortable Upper level Primary suite bathroom is large and the shower was great The upstairs rooms have plenty of space and light. The hall bathroom was large with more than enough counter space *Primary suite balcony had soft/wiggly boards which made us nervous to walk on *Primary suite mattress was so uncomfortable my husband and I both woke up with back aches. We ended up sleeping in the room off the stairs the last night of our 3 night stay and slept much better. Very well lit and well appointed home. There are 3 different decks to take in the incredible view. And the outdoor swing was a lovely touch. Felt very much like a home away from home. Some small critiques that I think could help so we wanted to share. This home is clearly well loved and taken care of. We had a wonderful time! The home is less than 10 minutes from shopping and a great grocery store. People in the community are very friendly. Beautiful state parks about 15 minutes or less. Swallow Falls and Deep Creek State Park were absolutely beautiful. Taylor Made was EXCELLENT to communicate with. We had a hot tub question, left a voicemail one evening and they called back within the hour. And they communicate before and during with great detail. Made the whole process feel very seamless. They also provided dishwashing tablets and toilet paper and paper towels. We would certainly recommend Taylor Made to friends and family and this home’s views and overall comfort were fantastic. One of our favorite vacations to date!

This house was great. Our family’s 1st Christmas away. Lots of space for the kids that were all ages from toddlers to college. 5 mins from the slops and tubing. Walmart just up the road. Quiet, private setting. Saw deer on the lawn in the mornings.

We loved the place and the area. We had a lot of fun !
